This unusually sized coin is one of only a few fractional silver coins produced by the RCM.
The coin features precisely machined radial lines on both sides of the coin as a security feature, just as used on the gold and silver maple leaf coins.
The obverse features the Susanna Blunt effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and the unusual denomination of two dollars.
The reverse showcases the largest of the birds of prey, a bald eagle, in flight carrying a salmon in it's talons.
Tree branches share the foreground with the eagle.
All of the writing on the reverse runs around the rim of the coin in the area filled by the radial lines.
In multiples of 20 these coins will be shipped in a plastic tube.
In multiples of 480 these coins will be shipped in a monster box.
